Leadership Alliance National Symposium (LANS) is the annual focal point for the summer research activities that brings together a community of young Alliance scholars, faculty, administrators, selected private sector representatives, federal officials and private individuals.

The symposium provides a scientific communication venue and promotes understanding of academic professional opportunities through links to research opportunities, mentors, and host institutions.
