The Leadership Alliance is an affiliated consortia of the Faculty Resource Network (FNR) at New York University, and all faculty at Leadership Alliance member institutions are eligible to participate in the Network's programs.

FNR, founded in 1984 by President L. Jay Oliva, is an award-winning, nationally-recognized faculty development initiative whose mission is to improve the quality of teaching and learning at its member and affiliate institutions by providing opportunities for faculty development and cross-institutional collaboration. All faculty members from member institutions and the affiliated consortia are eligible to participate in the Network's broad-based, year-long programming in the humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, education, and new technology.
