Nineteen of the Leadership Alliance’s institutional members offer summer research programs that include active participation in scholarly research projects. These programs also offer weekly seminars and regularly scheduled field trips, as well as social and cultural activities. The institutions set high standards and offer outstanding, closely mentored research experiences in the areas that are indicated in the "Research Fields" section of the application form. Interested students should review these research areas carefully and make selections that best match their own interests and experience with the institutions’ programs. Students should also check each institution’s website for specific information on research fields and mentors, before submitting the application form.
